Days left to choose
The Māori Electoral Option runs until 2 august 2018

How do I decide which roll to be on?

Making your mind up – a few suggestions.

Choosing between Māori Roll and General Roll is a personal choice and you’ll need to decide which roll best represents your views and interests.

Here are a few pointers to get you started:

• Talk with friends and whānau to get a range of views and opinions.
• You can search online for information from a variety of sources.
• Take a look at what the political parties and their MPs have to say about the Māori and General rolls.
• Look up current MPs (from both rolls) to see whether they reflect your interests and beliefs.

The more you know, the more informed your decision will be.
